Observation tower, called Askanierturm. Prince Carl of Prussia commissioned the Eberswalde master builder Oskar Büschner to build the tower on the site where the Ascanian castle Werbellin is said to have stood earlier, which was probably built between 1211 and 1215 by Margrave Albrecht II. The round tower made of field stone, balcony and brick crenellation was inaugurated in 1879.
