There are libraries in Åland. Actually a whole library system. With its own internet domain: Bibliotek.ax
Everywhere on the island, you see small signs to a library. The website lists 15 municipal libraries, 7 school libraries, and further special libraries. Hovering above them is the Stadsbibliotek Mariehamn as the central library.
Those who have so far associated Scandinavia only with signs of moose and reindeer will now be presented with a new sign right in front of the library: the Marienhamns-Gumsen
