Built in the 16th century, Sparrenburg Castle is located in the heart of Bielefeld and is considered a landmark of the city. Located south of the city at an elevation of 180 meters, it offers sweeping views of Bielefeld and the neighboring Teutoburg Forest. A must-visit is the 37-meter-high castle tower, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from April to October. More information about the castle: die-sparrenburg.de
