Established in 1958 as Canada's first nature sanctuary, Thetis Lake Regional Park protects a diverse landscape of lakes, rocky outcrops, Garry oak meadows, and coastal Douglas-fir forest. There are more than forty kilometres of trails in the park explore, connecting quiet woodland paths with shoreline viewpoints and swimming areas around Upper and Lower Thetis Lake.
