Hauglandskvedno stands below Stokklifossen and is around 300 years old. Hauglandskvedno is the only watermill on Stord that still stands on its original site. It was used during the Second World War, from 1940 to 1945. Legend has it that no mill ground better flour for baking than Hauglandskvedno. It invites for a rest and picnic besides a splash in the basin of the little water fall.
