Live right next to the castle.
Unfortunately for a year in bankruptcy.
The Schloss Park is also not accessible.
    Everything to.
    Warm greetings

The hotel ceased operations in summer 2020. The castle was sold and is now to be converted into a clinic. It is currently unclear whether the palace park will ever be open to the public again.

A beautiful castle with an equally beautiful castle garden, which is freely accessible - especially the Chinese-Japanese garden is magical and worth seeing. The history of the castle goes back to the year 1571.
The Tremsbüttel mansion, built in 1893/94, with its neo-renaissance style elements is a typical architectural monument of the Wilhelminian era and historicism. Today the "fairytale castle" located between the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Lübeck serves as a conference and congress center as well as a dream location for weddings and other private celebrations.
The large aristocratic estate Tremsbüttel was sold in 1475 to the Duke of Saxony-Lauenburg, who used it as a bailiwick and hunting lodge. As a pledge it came in 1571 to the dukes of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf, who converted it into an office as sovereigns. The courtyard buildings fell into disrepair in the course of the 18th century and became almost uninhabitable.
In 1800 Count Christian zu Stolberg gave up the office and sold the estate. Then the owners changed in quick succession. The official administration was merged with the offices of Reinbek and Trittau in 1802. A new chapter in the history of the property was the takeover by the Remscheid entrepreneur Alfred Hasenclever (1859-1908) and his wife Olga, daughter of the previous owner Strack. They had today's manor house or "castle" built in 1893/94 by the Berlin architects Hans Grisebach and Georg Dinklage.
