The photo was obviously taken on Sellin's south beach, with the beaches of Baabe and Göhren in the background – and the Nordperd in the background left (unfortunately not quite visible). A hike there is definitely worth it.
The hilly area around Sellin is highly recommended. You wouldn't expect that on the Baltic Sea. Beautiful views of the landscape towards the lake and the hinterland open up again and again.
BTW: Somewhere down there on the left on Fidcherstrand are the last 10 days of the tape measure from my time in the army – a very long time ago. 😁
