The station building at the Rajcza railway station was built in 1884 at the request of the Austrian Railways Administration. The designer of the station was architect Stefan Fussganger. In the same year, the railway line, belonging to the Galician Transversal Railway, which ran from Čadca through Zwardoń, Rajcza, Żywiec, Sucha Beskidzka to Nowy Sącz, was also opened. On one of the station walls, there is also a plaque commemorating the events that took place on September 14, 1940.
