Tips
The little loop is worth it. The asphalt is better and so is the landscape. The castle with its outbuildings as well as the farmsteads further along are beautiful to look at.
The milk bike path also goes here.

Gartrop Castle is a moated castle in the Gartrop-Bühl district of Hünx. The castle complex is located near the country road between Hünxe and Schermbeck-Gahlen in the Lippeauen. Today's town of Gartrop developed from the settlement of the former castle servants.
