During our vacation in Neßmersiel, we took a day trip from Norddeich to Norderney. We rented bikes right at the harbor and explored the beautiful island. We had a lot of fun – we highly recommend it.

The further northeastern beach area is part of the protection zone II. Furthermore, the protection zone III is located in the southwest of the island district fishing port with the attached area of the windsurfing school and the golf course in the center of the island. It is a 9-hole golf course, created in 1922 and existing since 1927 in its present form. It is the only links course in Germany.
