Big Carine Swamp can be walked completely around by a mostly paved pathway and is great for birdwatching. There are often ducks, swans, and cockatoos that frequent the swamp. Keep an eye out for posted warning signs for snakes around the swamp during summer. The pathway passes through a mix of sunny and shady areas, and there are nice views of the swamp from between the trees.
