This small chapel in the north of Pamfila is located on a dirt road. Access is free and parking is also possible there.
The impressive thing is that the building is the life's work of a single man, with about 50 years of construction time!
The Greek Orthodox monk Papa Photis (1912-2010) lived in great modesty, always wearing only his robe and (at best) sandals. He collected the building materials for "his" church from all over the island and transported them to the construction site with donkeys. He collected many donations.
