The entrance fee is fair at 3 euros per person. The small museum provides insights into olive oil production from the past and present.
Right at the beginning, you see the stone base of an ancient oil press, found on Lesbos in 1983. There are clay storage containers, machines from the age of industrialization, and a few lovingly arranged exhibits. However, the museum is not overcrowded.
Some details are waiting to be discovered, such as a diary and accounting documents, as well as the director's wooden office furniture.
