On January 21, 1971, a twin-engine NORD 262 crashed at the foot of the suc du Pradou.
It was a Thursday, the weather was dreadful: there was thick fog with heavy snowfall.
It was in the late afternoon that a helicopter spotted the wreckage of the military aircraft that crashed at the bottom of the suc du Pradou, in the place called les Hubertes.
