The path is easy to drive on, but has some bottlenecks. There are two wooden bridges to be crossed near Blaustein, the cycle path under the train tracks in Ulm is confusing and very narrow. Here the path is impassable at high tide. In autumn in the section from the "Spirale" to the traffic light crossing in Ulm cleared and partly smooth.
