The ferry is a great opportunity for a small harbor tour through (parts) of the port of Rotterdam, the crossing takes approx. 1 hour and costs €8 for 1 adult with a bicycle. Payment is conveniently made on board. Coming from the south, follow the signs until you reach a gate, where there is an A4 printout explaining everything, or you can simply press the green button.
