It is possible to continue through the gravel path, if you want to connect with the northern road to make loop, instead of just going back down.It's rough gravel/stones, so you may have to pull the bike for a bit and/or ride on the grass next to the cows. But after a bit of descenting in this mess, you are connected back on the northern side to an area with beautiful landscape.

The gravel connection to the northern side has improved a lot. It's still very rough gravel. But rideable the whole way down on a road bike.

The hardest, most beautiful climb you probably never heard of unless you're a local. Perfect smooth tarmac, hardly any traffic, great views. A real test of the legs from the beginning!
