An area of approximately 170 hectares of meadows in the Narew valley below the village of Trześcianka, covered by the Natura 2000 program, where active habitat protection is carried out for many species of endangered wetland birds. The entire area is fenced and access is prohibited, but for tourist purposes, an access road along the fence of the refuge has been made available, and one parking spot with a small viewing platform on the roof of a shed-shelter for Polish Koniks has been prepared.
