The highest point at 142 m is the vineyard with the observation tower inaugurated in 1923 (formerly King Albert Tower).
An unsubstantiated legend suggests that there was a Slavic fortification there. The folk tale is handed down that on the vineyard the castle Wyn (wine) should have been destroyed by Hussites or robbing soldiers around 1433.
The headquarters of Haugwitz was handed down as a castle, which was burned down by his own hand.
Around 1760, a wine culture was created and served the former manor as Hutung.
Around 1860, the city bought the area from the then owner of the town estate and in April 1896, the city council decided to build a city park.
