The unit was officially founded in 1955.
70th Anniversary:
In August 2025, OSP Bór solemnly celebrated 70 years of existence. On this occasion, the unit was honored with the prestigious „Polonia Minor” Medal. The award was granted for outstanding contributions to the safety of the inhabitants of Małopolska.
Cultivating memory:
Firefighters from Bór have meticulously documented their activities for decades. Evidence of this is the OSP Bór Chronicle, which won, among other things, a distinction during the District Review of OSP Chronicles under the slogan „History trapped in chronicles”.
