Road cycling
This gravel section is off the beaten tourist track and offers magnificant views around the inner character of the island. May is a good month for this adventure as the green is looming through and put the light show in marvelous perspective, especially with a bit of snow left on top of the mountains. There were no parking/camping spots along this road. 45mm gravel tyres were okay but a bit more can help to rattle along on the stretches of rough, stoney but compacted gravel.
