Hiking
The church was built from 1765–1771 and consecrated in 1771. It is the only church building in northeastern Germany consistently built in the Reformed style (and the only Reformed church in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern).
It dates back to Huguenots (French religious refugees) who were settled in Bützow from 1699 onwards. In the 18th century, a German Reformed congregation was also established. From 1771, the church served both congregations; they merged in 1778.
