This section of the WCT between Walbran Creek and Logan Creek is entirely in the forest. Though relatively short (around 3 kilometres), this stretch is a relentless combination of ladders, mud, roots, and complex rainforest terrain, with some sections blocked by fallen trees and stretches of boardwalk in various states of disrepair. Here, you’ll see plenty of carnivorous sundew, bog cranberries, and Labrador tea that grow in the saturated ground along the path.
