Beautiful view of Pakrac and Prekopakra
In the 1757 visitation of Ivan Krstitelj Paxy, a wooden chapel of St. Rok is mentioned. Today, on its site stands a brick chapel, probably built in this form somewhat later. The chapel was built as a votive offering during the plague epidemic that affected this area in the 18th century (St. Rok is the patron saint against the plague), and near the church, there was once a plague cemetery. The feast day of this saint is celebrated on August 16th.
