Legendary stone in the peasantry Hundewick. At this point on the old land route from Südlohn to Stadtlohn on May 29, 1617, the mayor Berndt Bülsing was assassinated by soldiers of the Colonel Wallraf Gent, who was in charge of the Generalstatten. The mayor had approached the advancing troops to request gentle treatment for his city. After the crime, city pay was taken by force and plundered.

In later centuries, the people commemorated the bloody deeds regularly in the course of the field processions leading past here.
