The maquis of Saffré (1943-1944) was both a group of French resistance fighters opposed to the German army during World War II and the place where it operated, in the north of the French department of Loire-Inférieure. It was defeated on June 28, 1944, at the end of the Battle of Saffré, against the occupying army supplemented by the French militia.
