From Gasthaus Knell in Mold you go towards Mörtersdorf. The path takes you on dirt roads, from which you have a beautiful view of the Horner basin towards Rosenburg, into the forest, where you have to cross a small gully after a short time and again on a dirt road on to Mörtersdorf. There you can either stop off at the Graselwirtin or you go under the underpass of the B 4 direction pilgrimage Maria Dreieichen. The trail leads you almost exclusively through beautiful forests, which occasionally offer the possibility of a rest or invite in due course for mushroom picking. First, you go uphill a bit and then walk in the direction of Maria Dreieichen. There you can visit the pilgrimage church as well as indulge in culinary delights in the inn Vlasaty or go straight back to the river. After Maria Dreieichen you will soon go steeply downhill through the forest, and then continue on the edge of the forest. From here you have a wonderful panoramic view of the Horner basin. With a little luck you can enjoy a picturesque sunset from there in the evening. The last few meters you go back on dirt roads back to Mold and have the opportunity to end the day with a good meal in the garden of the inn Knell.
