The Argentine village of Villa Epecuén was flooded in 1985 after a dam and protective barrier broke, causing the nearby lake to slowly submerge the entire town.
It remained underwater for about 25 years, and when the water receded, only salt-covered ruins were left, turning it into a ghost town.
The entrance fee is 8.000 Pesos per person.
