The history of OSP in Podolsze is over 115 years of service, which began in the time of the Austrian partition. The unit has come a long way from a simple water pump to modern combat vehicles and membership in KSRG.
Beginnings and Galician times (1907)
Foundation: The brigade was organized on July 1, 1907. The initiator was Jan Kotasek, then head of the municipality, and the unit's statute had to be approved by the c.k. Governor-General's Office in Lviv.
