  • Lemmi alias Schlumpf

Forest and heathland in the middle of the dunes, even in the rain a pleasure.

The Schoorlser dunes (Dutch Schoorlse Duinen) are a nature reserve in North Holland northwest of Alkmaar between the North Sea and the village Schoorl. The five-kilometer-wide dune area is bordered to the north by the Hondsbosschen dunes, which were washed up in the years 2013-2015, and ends after about six kilometers in the south by the Nordholländische Dünenreservat. Therein rises the radar dune, 54 meters high, the highest dune in the Netherlands (Wikipedia).

Dreamlike dune area, no matter where and with which means of transport. Worth it everywhere.
