Hiking
The Mondfelsen rises imposingly 40 m from the shore with its light beige molasse sandstone. Above it is a steep, overgrown upper slope area. Its sickle shape gave it its name and it is a strictly protected natural jewel. Peregrine falcons, the fastest birds of prey in the world, breed here. To avoid disturbing them, quietness in this area is particularly important.
