The "old castle" is really a little hiking highlight and the color of the leaves in autumn is uniquely beautiful! From here you have a wonderful view over the Vipava Valley, which is extremely reminiscent of Tuscany. In summer and late summer it smells wonderfully of thyme and other herbs. The variety of flora and fauna up there is unique. Sit down and watch.
