The impressive mural is titled „Yayas Garden" (Grandmother's Garden). It was created by Australian artist Mike Makatron (also known as Mike Maka).
It was completed in June 2019 as part of ArtWalk 4, the international street art festival of Patras.
The mural depicts a lush, almost surreal „exotic garden". The central element is a large blue bee, hovering over a diverse flora of flowers, cacti, and other plants. Mike Makatron's works often address the conflict or symbiosis between nature and civilization.
