If you take the path through the forest between Wiswedel and Radenbeck, you leave the open district road and immerse yourself in one of the quietest forest areas in the northern district. This forest is an offshoot of the larger forest areas that extend to Schönewörde and Knesebeck. You mainly ride on compacted forest and forestry roads. It is a mixed forest in which pines (typical for the sandy soil) alternate with old oaks and beeches.
