This section of the Dandenong Creek Trail runs from Heathmont to Jells Park, forming part of the wider 44 kilometre route. The trail is mostly gravel and follows the creek through a mix of wetlands, parkland, and conservation areas. Along the way, it passes Bushy Park wetlands, a bird hide, Drummies Bridge Reserve, and Shepherds Bush, with additional wetland sections further south. It also links with the Blind Creek Trail and connects into the Scotchmans Creek Trail at Jells Park.
