Tips

The Russian Trail is almost legendary in the area around Amorbach and is one of the most challenging singletrack in the area. A good opportunity for you to test your driving technique. Above all, you destroy neat altitude, which is not the case otherwise on the trails in the low mountain ranges.

Beautiful downhill singletrack, with some crisp turns at the beginning, further down but then without much technical skill to drive

The departure compensates for the long climb.

Great trail that marks the end of the circuit AM1
The switchbacks at the beginning make their name all honor - because it can be pretty tight, if you are not too practiced in rear wheel translation.
Then you can flowin 'beautiful fall into the valley.
Since there are no extended trails, keep your eyes open for itinerary options so you do not just race down into the valley.

Horny departure, long, exhausting. But make a hell of a hassle.

Geiler, long trail. It almost feels like being in the mountains. Partly crisp to drive (tight bends) in the middle part. Otherwise TOP. :-)

Nice, long trail, some tricky spots, the rest mostly flowy and nice!

There was no nice jump for the experienced just before the end in 2017. @Dr. B. Cool: The trail is basically "open" all year round.

Is the trail still open in November or even all year round?

The nice jump for the experienced just before the end did not take place in 2017. @Dr. B. Cool: The trail is basically "open" all year round.

Really good to drive. Not too difficult and not too easy.
