The foundation stone for today's church was laid on June 21, 1891. Their equipment has changed many times over the years, for example as a result of severe damage during the Second World War. Due to damage to the roof truss, for example, the painting was completely destroyed, so that the church in its current appearance essentially goes back to the post-war period. The liturgical reform of the Second Vatican Council also played an important role in the design of the room. The church is one of the largest in our Archdiocese of Paderborn. Three places in the church are particularly worth mentioning here.
