The trail to Lough Glannafreaghaun (also known as Shrone Lake) provides excellent views of the Derrynasaggart Mountains. The Paps of Anu are the range's highest peaks and are seen beautifully from the path. Like the Paps of Jura or the Pap of Glencoe in Scotland, these peaks are named for their distinctive breast-shaped profile.
