Hilton Cross Trail begins on Highway 10 and ends at a clearing of trees for some powerlines 6.4 kilometers away, one way. This trail can be hiked or cross-country skied as an out-and-back. There is an outhouse in the parking lot, and it takes visitors through beautiful forests. Be aware that the trail begins with a slight downhill, so the return will be uphill.
