A detour is always worth a beautiful view 😉 (tower)
The four seasons region - Geißkopf.
In summer - bike park, archery park, hiking and rest.In winter - popular ski area with snow-making equipment - floodlit skiing - toboggan run - snow and fun park - Geisslein park. The catering establishments take care of the physical well-being with typical Bavarian snacks, delicacies and the tasty beer.A hike around the 1,097 m high Geißkopf near Bischofsmais not only offers many unforgettable nature experiences. The ruins of the abandoned forest village of Oberbreitenau also tell of the hard life of mountain farmers in the Bavarian Forest. Well-marked hiking and forest trails lead to its summit. Those who prefer to be more comfortable can also use the chairlift.

Since "Geißkopf" for the people who maintain High German "Geissenkopf" or just hoid there "Goaßkopf" as he is called by us 😂, is an Eldorado for hikers and mountain bikers!

And if there is snow again, a drag lift for skiers and 9 ski runs is also possible. A summer toboggan run is also available.

It is a 1097mNN mountain, on which there is a 23m high wooden lookout tower and a restaurant.

The real highlight there for mountain bikers is the bike park!
There are 12 different routes available, something for every mountain biker, no matter if beginner or professional.

The view from the tower is very worthwhile. Ascent with bike top. There are various trails down.

You do not have to write much about the Geisskopf. Whether ascending by lift or by bike it's the most fun

The perfect destination for visitors to the Bavarian Forest, both for hikers and even better for biking, including a bike park

At the summit station on the Geisskopf there is a very nice restaurant and there is also a wooden observation tower. But above all, the different lines of the bike park start here. You can get up either with the new four-seater chairlift or via the bike park's "Uphill-Flow-Trail" - the latter is certainly an interesting option, especially for ebikers!
