Outstanding peakpoint with an amazing view over the Barentsea. Much better place than the celebrated „Nordcap“. The Tour along the wild coastline afterwards was amazing as well. You can watch white-tailed Sea Eagles and Whales with a Field Glass.

Take mountain boots, hat, gloves, windproof, warm clothes, water ration and snacks. The descent from the Tanahorn to the shore is via unpaved trails, scree and snowfields, in Midsummer!

Off the road, this vantage point is above the sea. From the road a narrow path leads to this rock, marked with stones and poles. It's easy to get lost here in fog.
