The Maria ten Hemelopneming is a Catholic church in the Groningen town of Bedum. The neo-gothic church was built to a design by A. Tepe.
After the Reformation in 1676, a Catholic station was established in Bedum. In 1740 a shelter church was opened. The hidden church, probably where the presbytery of the present church was later built, was dedicated to the local saint Walfridus. In 1855 the church was renamed after Maria. The name of Mary was retained during the construction of the current church.
