He finds the "lake wine" significantly more harmonious and balanced compared to the "cellar wine" aged concurrently – and he's not alone. In Falstaff magazine, the "wave dancer" received an impressive 93 out of 100 possible points. The buoy used was specially designed and planned for the experiment. "The considerable effort involved in its implementation has paid off." The project has since expanded to Switzerland. A buoy was anchored in Lake Zurich in partnership with the Irsslinger winery.
