Crupet is a place and part of the Belgian municipality of Assesse. Crupet is located in the province of Namur and is one of the most beautiful places in Wallonia (Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie).

The place is a place of pilgrimage and tourist attraction, because of the special cave next to the church of Saint Martin (Saint Martin), inaugurated on July 12, 1903. The cave shows various representations of saints' lives (especially of Anthony of Padua), with 22 life size figures and is crowned by spectacular red devils. The pastor who devoted his life to the manufacture of this cave, Gerard, is also depicted life-size, praying beside the bench in front of the cave.

Lower in the valley is Carondelet Castle with a keep from the XIIIth century.

Crupet is an other suggestive village among two valleys. It's worth a visit, but take care of the uphill!
