North Chickamauga Creek Corridor is a scenic stretch of forest where the Cumberland Trail follows the creek through a narrow, wooded gorge at the edge of the Cumberland Plateau. The path stays close to the water, passing rock walls, small cascades, and shaded bends. The trail can be rocky, with uneven footing, especially after rain, and you should be ready for a few shallow creek crossings. Hiking poles or even a simple stick can be helpful here.
