The Church of Nuestra Señora del Consuelo de Altea is the main (but not the only) religious building in the town. You will find it in the Plaza de la Iglesia, in the old town, an area full of charm and history. The church is surrounded by white houses, craft shops and delicious bars and restaurants. In addition, a few meters away you will come across a viewpoint from which you can observe the coastal area of Altea and the immensity of the sea.
