Tankville Schoolhouse & Museum is a historic one-room school building and small museum in Irishtown Nature Park. It was built in the early 20th century, and today the schoolhouse is preserved, offering a fascinating glimpse into rural New Brunswick life. Inside, you’ll find old desks, textbooks, photos, a wood-burning stove, and interpretive displays that show what a day in a one-room school was like for children of all ages, taught together in grades. Volunteers and local historical groups often help maintain the site, and there's no admission fee, but donations are appreciated.
