    The Radom is a major industrial monument and the world's last of its kind. Under the white dome hides the first antenna of 1963 built by the Deutsche Bundespost earth station. The huge shell with a diameter of 50 m was used to protect the parabolic antenna. The 1985 decommissioned Radom can be visited.

              Radom Raisting is the first commercially operated satellite ground station in Germany. It was built in 1963/64 on behalf of the Deutsche Bundespost.
