This gentle six kilometer loop winds through woodlands and meadows, offering a peaceful escape into Saskatchewan’s boreal landscape. Open year‑round, the trail is popular for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross‑country skiing, and dogs are welcome on leash. You’ll find wildflowers in summer, with the Saskatchewan Tiger Lily being particularly eye-catching. Please not that occasional wildlife sightings do occur here and that includes apex predators, so bear spray is good to have on you. And speaking of sprays, the mosquitoes can be overwhelming so bug spray is essential during mosquito season.
