Windischeschenbach with its Neuhaus district is known as the capital of the Zoigl beer. It has had municipal brewing rights since 1455. In 1852, local residents merged to form the “Brauische Bürger von Windischeschenbach” community brewing company and built the Kommunbrauhaus, which still exists and operates in Braugasse today.

On bridal days you can even follow the brewing process here. You can find the bar dates at oberpfaelzerwald.de/zoigl.
